Venue Finding Services - Lisbon

Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From the imposing Castelo de Sao Jorge, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel coloured buildings, the Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays five centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.

Lisbon has some spectacular hotels; including the Corinthia, Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon, Sofitel and Sheraton. We particularly like the Corinthia. With their largest suite accommodating up to 800 guests theatre style and 518 bedrooms, this is a popular events hotel.

For a venue with a historical past, how about the former convent – Convento do Beato. Dating back to the 15th century – although construction actually began in the 16th century. Situated five minutes away from the airport and close to the railway station this beautiful venue has a variety of spaces available, with The Cloister being able to seat up to 1200 guests.

How about the Grémio Literário; founded in 1846, it’s a beautiful venue with seven event spaces, from 50 to 200 guests.

There are so many ways to get around Lisbon! From the tram to the train. From the bus to the metro. From taxis to cycling – you’ll be spoilt for choice!
