Venue Finding Services Birmingham

Birmingham is a major city in England’s West Midlands region, with multiple Industrial Revolution-era landmarks that speak to its 18th century history as a manufacturing powerhouse. It’s also home to a network of canals, many of which radiate from Sherborne Wharf and are now lined with trendy cafes and bars.

In the city centre itself you’ll find all the big names as you would expect to see in a city like Birmingham; Novotel, Hampton by Hilton, Jurys Inn, Malmaison, Holiday Inn, Marriott, Hyatt Regency and Radisson Blu to name a few!

The Radisson Blu is a striking 39 storey building in the heart of the city. 211 bedrooms and seven meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 130 delegates theatre style. It’s a stylish hotel in a fabulous location.

If you’re looking for something a little more unusual, for a summer drinks reception, the Discovery Terrace, on the third floor of Birmingham Library is a great choice. With 360º views over the city, it’s a wonderful outdoor location.

For an interesting team building experience, Birmingham is home to the first Bear Grylls Adventure Park. With a range of exciting challenges, from the target archery and survival maze in Base Camp to indoor climbing walls, high ropes, indoor sky-diving and swimming with sharks – you’ll need stamina, energy and nerves of steel!

Just 30 minutes outside of the city centre (by train or driving) is the NEC, which sits alongside Birmingham Airport on one side and the Hilton Birmingham Metropole the other side. Just across from Pendigo Lake out the back of the Hilton is the Crowne Plaza and Resorts World.

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is the largest conference hotel outside of London, with 790 bedrooms, 32 meeting rooms and three restaurants, it can accommodate up to 2,000 delegates for a conference, and up to 1,000 for a banquet. With a Livingwell Health Club and swimming pool, 600 car parking spaces and complimentary WiFi it’s no wonder it’s a hugely popular conference venue.
