Venue Finding Services Bristol

Bristol has got some fantastic venues including Ashton Gate Stadium which is the largest conference & events venue in the South West which underwent a £45 million pound refurbishment in 2016. There’s the Brunel SS Great Britain, which was the longest former passenger steamship in the world from 1845 to 1854 and has some traditional and versatile spaces for all types of events. And there’s the M Shed, which dates back to the 1950’s, still has four of the forty cranes working with thanks to volunteers who have restored them and they have event spaces in their purpose built facilities for up to 220 delegates.

Bristol will also welcome the Bristol Arena which is a planned 12,000 capacity indoor arena, expected to be completed in 2020, located next to Temple Mead Train Station, this is set to be a huge welcome to the city and for venue hire!

If you’re looking for a hotel, Bristol has some fantastic options of all the well known brands including the Hilton by DoubleTree, Radisson Blu, Hotel Du Vin & the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa. Located only a five minute walk from Bristol Temple Mead Train Station, the Hilton by DoubleTree City Centre Hotel offers conference facilities for up to 300 delegates, 206 guest bedrooms and boasts 150 complimentary car parking spaces while the Bristol Harbour Hotel & Spa offers a more boutique surrounding with the smaller 42 luxury bedrooms overlooking St Nicholas Market and Bristol Crown Court, capacity for up to 400 delegates in their Sansovino Hall which was the former banking hall of the Lloyds bank building.

If you have a bit of free time, why not wander around the city and take in the must see attractions such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge, which was the location for the world first bungee jump back in 1979. Why not pop along for a free guided tour and learn the history of the bridge! If you would rather stay firmly grounded, Aerospace Bristol is a great way to spend your time with the chance to step on board on a British icon, Concorde Alpha Foxtrot. She was the final Concorde to be build and last to fly!

Getting from A to B couldn’t be much easier with two train stations, buses and a floating ferry! Located on the harbour side, the tourist information is on hand if you want to buy day or season tickets or assist with bus time or routes. Another great way to see the city is through a guided tour on-board a Bristol Insight: The Open Top Bus Company. Let the expert driver tell you all about the sights and scenery along the way and hop on and off as many times as you like.
