Venue Finding Services Coventry

Coventry can sometimes be overlooked for its it’s bigger neighbour, Birmingham , and its picturesque neighbour, Stratford-Upon-Avon. But Coventry has so much to offer, from wonderful architecture and history to the Transport Museum which houses the biggest collection of British made cars, motorcycles and bicycles in the world – and can accommodate up to 300 delegates.

The Manufacturing Technology Centre, MTC is in Coventry and has a state of the art conference facility which includes a 250 seat raked lecture theatre with a 8.5m2 video wall and fully equipped sound system. On the opposite end of the scale is St Mary’s Guildhall. Located in the city’s cathedral quarter, this venue is steeped in history. Work started in 1340 and was completed by 1342. It grew in size and embellishment until 1414 when it was the size it is today. With a variety of spaces available to hire, from the stunning Great Hall (think Harry Potter!) to the atmospheric Undercroft with its magnificent vaulted roof it’s a truly versatile venue.

With regards to hotels, Coventry has a Mercure and Novotel, Ramada and a Doubletree by Hilton which has recently been refurbished. One of our favourite hotels in the area is Coombe Abbey, originally a 12th Century Abbey. Set in 500 acres of parkland and easy reach of both the M1 and the M6 it’s got 11 different meeting spaces, something for everyone.

If sporting venues are your thing, then look no further than the Ricoh Arena Coventry. Just off J2 of the M6 With 20,000m2 of meeting space across 80 rooms and 121 bedrooms on-site, it’s a brilliant conference facility. Perfect for exhibitions, conferences, meetings and a popular choice for music events.

Coventry is a really easy city to get around. As a city goes, it’s on the smaller side, meaning that walking from place to place is possible, but it also has excellent bus links within the city, and rail links to surrounding areas.
